Sensors Line

Tent-X Grow Tent System utilizes several specialized sensors for environmental monitoring. All connect to the Tent-X controller’s RJ12 SENSORS port, are daisy-chainable with RJ12 cables, and can use an SPH-1 splitter. The MBS-TH (included) is a 3-in-1 sensor for air temperature, humidity, and light. The MBS-S8 CO2 Sensor measures CO2 PPM and controls supplemental CO2 via a DSC-1 module. The MBS-SD Smoke Detector alerts users to smoke via phone notifications. The MBS-PAR Full Spectrum Quantum Sensor measures PAR/PPFD and, with compatible controllers, adjusts lighting.

Sensors Line

The AMP-3 Sensor Board is a digital bridge connecting pH, EC, and temperature probes to the Tent-X Grow Tent Controller. It provides real-time pH, EC, and water temperature data on its LCD screen and the main controller, enabling comprehensive water parameter monitoring for various tanks or dosing systems through flexible RJ12 connections.

Sensors Line

WCS-2 and WCS-3 sensors monitor grow medium conditions (water content, temperature, EC) for the Tent-X (TCS-1) Grow Tent System. WCS-2 measures water content, temp, and EC via a five-prong sensor inserted into the grow media. WCS-3 is a Volumetric Water Content (VWC) sensor. Both connect to the Tent-X controller (usually the “Sensors” port) via an RJ12 cable or an AMP-3 Sensor Board. The Tent-X accommodates one sensor of each type. Data (temp, moisture, EC) is displayed on the AMP-3 or Tent-X controller. The TrolMaster TM+ app shows real-time/historical data and provides alarm notifications.

Medium Monitoring Sensors

Sensors Line

The WD-1 water detector integrates with the Tent-X (TCS-1) Grow Tent System to monitor water. Up to two WD-1s can daisy-chain with other sensors via the SENSOR port. It acts as a leak detector for floors or spaces, and a water-verification monitor for irrigation systems. When irrigation is active, the WD-1 detects water within a delay time. If no water is detected, the Tent-X sends an “irrigation failure” alert, indicating pump or solenoid issues.

Device Control

The TrolMaster DST-1 (temperature), DSH-1 (humidity), and DSP-1 (timer) modules integrate with the Tent-X (TCS-1) Control System via RJ12 cables to manage grow tent environments. The DST-1 controls heating/cooling (up to two modules: T1, T2), the DSH-1 manages humidifying/dehumidifying (up to two modules: H1, H2), and the DSP-1 provides multi-function timing for devices like irrigation (up to four modules: P1-P4). Each module can handle devices up to 10 amps at 120 volts.

Device Control

The 4RS-2 is a 4-outlet device module kit that connects directly to the Tent-X (TCS-1) control system via RJ12 cables. It uses four Tent-X device modules, providing four controlled power outlets: one for temperature, one for humidity, and two for timers. This allows the Tent-X to manage environmental and irrigation devices, such as fans or pumps. With a total and individual output amperage of 15A, the 4RS-2 efficiently powers multiple devices, expanding the Tent-X system’s control capabilities.

Device Control

The DSC-1 is a CO2 Device Station module that connects to and controls supplemental CO2 devices or exhaust. It integrates with the Tent-X (TCS-1) controller, the central “brain” of the Tent-X Grow Tent System, to regulate CO2 levels by activating or deactivating connected CO2 equipment. The Tent-X system supports up to two DSC-1 modules for comprehensive CO2 control.

The EFC-1 EC Fan Control Adapter integrates with TrolMaster’s Tent-X (TCS-1) to manage most fan systems. It connects via a low-volt control option and an RJ12 cable to the Tent-X’s “devices line.” Two EFC-1 adapters automatically become the Exhaust Fan (F1) and Intake Fan (F2). Users select EC or PWM fan types on the adapter, allowing full control through the Tent-X, which supports 0-10V or PWM control for standard EC fans via the EFC-1.

The Tent-X Grow Tent System features the DSD-1 Dry-Contact Station, which uses dry-contact/relays to control devices like lights and pumps, and the DSV-1 Low-Volt Station, providing 12 or 24 VDC/VAC outputs for low-voltage devices such as solenoids and alarms. Both can be configured as various device modules with the TCS-1 controller. The DCC-1 Dual Condition Adapter allows a single device, connected via a plug-in module, to be controlled by two conditions. “Interlock OFF” means either condition activates the device (parallel), while “Interlock ON” requires both conditions simultaneously (series).
