Sensor Line

The Hydro-X control system’s sensor line is vital for environmental monitoring and automated device control. Sensors, detecting parameters like temperature, humidity, CO2, and light, connect to the main controller via daisy-chained RJ12 cables, transmitting environmental data. Specialized sensors can also detect hazards like smoke or water leaks, triggering alerts. Based on this real-time data and user settings, the main controller signals connected device modules to manage equipment, ensuring optimal environmental conditions.

Device Control

The Hydro-X control system manages temperature using sensors, device stations, and the main controller. Sensors send air temperature data to the controller, which, based on user-set day/night points, signals device stations. These stations control various heating/cooling equipment (mini-splits, HVAC, heat pumps), offering modes like AUTO, COOL, HEAT, and adjustable delay times to prevent rapid cycling. This modular design ensures precise, automated temperature regulation day and night.

Temperature Device Stations

Device Control

The Hydro-X control system uses humidity device modules and environmental sensors to regulate humidity. Users program Day and Night setpoints, and the controller activates/deactivates connected equipment based on real-time data to maintain levels. Some modules have adjustable time delays. Devices connect via RJ12 cables and can be daisy-chained. The system also alerts users via a smartphone app for alarm threshold breaches.

Humidity Device Stations

Device Control

The Hydro-X control system uses a CO2 sensor and user-defined setpoints (Day/Night) to regulate CO2 levels, activating or deactivating connected devices like generators, regulators, or exhaust fans. A “Fuzzy Logic” mode offers precise control for regulators. The system also sends smartphone warnings if CO2 levels exceed alarm ranges.

CO2 Device Stations

Device Control

Hydro-X program device stations offer time-based control for equipment like fans or pumps, independent of environmental factors. These stations connect to the main controller via RJ12 cables in a daisy-chain setup. Users can choose between “By Schedule” (continuous On/Off times) and “By Recycle” (repeating cycles with On/Off durations and daily cycle counts).

Program Device Stations

Device Control

Hydro-X’s auxiliary units offer specialized device management. Some units use dry-contact/relay for devices like lights or pumps, while others use low-voltage control. Specialized adapters manage a single device based on two conditions: “Interlock OFF” (parallel activation) or “Interlock ON” (series activation). Advanced adapters can even coordinate a single plug-in module across two control systems, overriding original hardware conditions with dynamic dual-control and interlock settings, ensuring flexible, automated environmental control and maximum equipment efficiency.

Lighting Line

The Hydro-X control system uses two independent lighting channels for horticultural setups, allowing simultaneous operation of different lighting systems or light spectrums. Users connect lighting fixtures in a daisy-chain, with adapters for various digital or analog signals. Each channel has distinct timer settings, dimming temperature setpoints, and power percentages for flexible custom layouts. Paired with ThinkGrow LED lights, these lines enable advanced functions like precise light intensity, spectral output adjustment, fixture grouping, and cloud simulation for optimized plant health and energy.
